Why Pushy charges by collection, not by product
Most apps in this category price by product count. Pushy prices by the number of collections it manages, because a collection is the unit of work. Keeping one collection sorted costs us the same whether it holds twenty products or twenty thousand, so billing by catalog size would charge you more for something that isn't more expensive to do.
That favors stores with deep catalogs and a tidy collection structure. A store with 50,000 products spread across 12 collections sits on Essential at $3.99/month; under product-based pricing that same store would be near the top of most competitors' price lists. It cuts the other way too. If you have a handful of products but hundreds of narrowly sliced collections, product-based pricing may well be cheaper, and we'd sooner you knew that before installing. Only the collections you switch on count toward your limit. If you have 300 collections but only want Pushy managing the 20 that drive traffic, you need a 25-collection plan, not a 300-collection one.
Which plan fits your store
Starter is free for up to 5 collections, and it's a real plan, not a trial. It runs the same real-time sorting engine as every paid tier, with no time limit and no product cap. If your storefront is built around a few main collections, you may never need to pay us anything.
Past that it comes down to how many collections you actually run. Essential covers 25 for $3.99/month, which fits most small and mid-size stores: a handful of category collections, a few seasonal ones, a sale collection. Premium covers 100 for $7.99/month and tends to be where stores land once they break the catalog down by brand, size, or material and the collection count climbs. Ultimate covers 5,000 for $14.99/month, for large catalogs and automated collection structures. Past 5,000, get in touch and we'll work something out.
Every tier does the same things: real-time sorting, the hourly safety sync, position restore on restock, tag-based exclusions. Higher plans raise the collection limit and nothing else. Real-time sorting especially is worth checking against other apps in the category, where it's sometimes the thing you have to upgrade for.
Trials, billing, and canceling
Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial, and you're not charged if you uninstall inside it. Shopify handles the billing, so it shows up on your normal Shopify invoice with no extra payment method to set up. Uninstalling the app cancels the subscription; there's no separate account to close, no cancellation fee, and no minimum term.

Pricing questions
What counts as a collection?
Any Shopify collection you switch on in Pushy, manual or automated. Collections you leave disabled don't count toward your plan limit, so a store with 300 collections that only manages 20 of them needs a 25-collection plan.
Does my product count affect the price?
No. Pushy has no product limit on any plan, including the free Starter plan. A collection with 20,000 products costs the same to manage as one with 20.
What happens if I exceed my plan limit?
Nothing breaks, and nothing gets switched off without warning. You'll be prompted to move up a tier before you can enable more collections, and the ones you already manage keep sorting as normal.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes, in either direction and at any time. Shopify handles the billing adjustment when you change tiers, and your collection settings carry over.
Is the free plan a trial?
No. Starter is free permanently, with no time limit, and it runs full real-time sorting rather than a cut-down version. The only difference from the paid plans is the 5-collection cap.
How do I cancel?
Uninstall the app from your Shopify admin and the subscription ends. Billing runs through Shopify, so there's no separate account to close, no cancellation fee, and no minimum term.
